The Early Cams: Firstcam
Firstcam: 2007
(Summary)
Some photographers look back on their careers and see the transition into their profession as slow and steady; a developing curiosity that turned into a full time job. I can't truthfully admit that before my first camera I was at all interested in photography. Dad was the one, as always, who went out of his way to break my comfort zone.
I remember watching him on the stairs, fiddling with a tiny piece of equipment. He had purchased the cheapest, most inexpensive camera you could have imagined. It didn't have a screen. It didn't have zoom. It was no bigger than the palm of your hand. But it did its job.
